Meaning “like the hidden tide” named after the famous Greek Nereid, or sea nymph. The rough surface of this chunky hoop swirls and moves, much like the sea itself. With a pear cut blue topaz encrusted at her center; a hidden gem in the color of the Aegean, said to bring good fortune. Just like a treasure from the deep.
The Calypso Hoops are handcast in solid 925 sterling silver with a thick gold vermeil plating of 18k gold. With a Matte finish and specialty anti-tarnish coating, giving the piece a brushed “sea-glass” effect, truly embodying the tides of the Mediterranean. These hoops are 20mm.
